Because there were too few annotations that included an interpretation of the text, we are now too far behind to complete the project as originally designed.
1. Compose a Socratic Question based on your interpretations and conclusions.
2. Answer it in 8 sentences. (These 8 sentences will/would serve as the text of your documentary's script.)
Wednesday: If you will not be attending the half-day your documentary script/story board must be handed in Tuesday.

1. List current event topics related to today's Newsday Tuesday article.
2. Share and place on the board all the relevant topics. Team into pairs and add these topics to your CONNECTION section of your homework. Add at least two sentences that use a current event topic above connected to the article.
3. Hand in the "extra connection added" version of your homework to K. Dia.
Roots Review: Make sure everyone knows the meanings of the following roots: acou, culp, agon, ortho, prot, dog/dox, aesth/esth, anemo, phag, bar/baro, iso, anth/antho, heli, graph, meter/metr trop agora phil, geo, phob, phyte, fort, orintho,
and the pre fixes: para-, an-, in-, ex-, iso-, com-. There are roots books in the cabinet for "referee" to check meanings and play boys v. girls response game. PROUD pass prizes for the winners.

Types of conflict
Using page 28 and 29 of your literature book define Charlie's conflict in FFA using all four types as a lens for analysis.
Reason Round Robin activity. Using four index cards, you will rotate partners and share your reasons for your choice of conflict by random selection (each new partner selects a number 1-4 for your to share). They will agree or disagree with text evidence.
You will have time to complete or re-try your Skill Quiz 2. Make SURE you include the definition, a sample and where you reference the text for each: C and C! For Q you just need to create a question (1 point) that is Socratic (1 point) and refers to the text (1 point).

3. Partner Prep for Roots Test 1-6.
In groups of 2 or 3 make sure that you have 1234 vocab cards for all of the roots we have had so far this year. The test will be just like the review lessons on page 10 and 24 of the book with the addition of origin (Greek or Latin)
3. Conflict Study (Monday Left Over)
Conflict Cards:
1. Using page 28 and 29 of your literature book. Take out four index cards and number them 1 through 4 on the BLANK side.
2. Define Charlie's conflicts in FFA. He has one of each type (even though only one drives the plot). Place each type of conflict on an index card with the text example: Charlie (man) vs. Doctors (man) and give a LINE SPECIFIC TEXT REFERENCE. Explain why you chose it. Use no particular order.
